How to buy and read or listen to a book?
1 Click on a cover image to go to the title’s catalog page. Click “Buy” . Fill out the secure form. (You only have to do this the first time you buy a book.) Free titles don’t require a credit card.
2 Download the “My Must Reads” app onto your mobile device from the Apple App Store or Google Play and sign into the app with the e-mail address and password you used to purchase the book.
3 The book will magically show up in your library. Download the book from the cloud, email or text message by tapping on it. Enjoy!
I want to read or listen to my book on my PC or laptop.
That’s easy, sign into the storefront where you bought the book. “My Library” will appear at the top. Tap or click on it. And your books will appear. Tap on the one you want to read or listen to.
I’m having trouble signing in—what do I do?
Make sure you’ve entered the email address and password you used to sign in when you purchased a book from a My Must Reads merchant. If you continue to have challenges, please e-mail us at Support@MyMustReads.com.
How do I purchase a title?
Books must be purchased from a My Must Reads merchant’s storefront. Open the My Must Reads app’s menu and tap “My Stores” for a list of merchants you’ve signed in with or visit the My Must Reads website for a list of merchants.
How do I read or listen to the books I’ve purchased?
Download the “My Must Reads” app to your mobile device from either the Apple App Store or Google Play or follow instructions in your email or text message. When the app opens, it will ask that you sign in with the email address and password you used when you purchased the book. At this point, the screen will change to show the storefront you used to buy the book. Tap the three bars in the upper left corner to open a menu of choices. The book will magically appear in the “My Library” menu choice. Download the book from the cloud by tapping on the cover.
You can also read or listen to your books on a PC or laptop. Simply sign into a My Must Reads merchant’s storefront then click on My Library. Click on the cover of the book you want to read or listen to.

I’m on a budget, how do I find free and low-cost books?
Using your browser, go to your merchant’s storefront. Select a category from the list on the left, then, using the drop-down menu on the right, select “Price low to high.”
How do I move a title from my app back into the cloud?
Tap on the book cover to open the title details page. Scroll down to the bottom and tap on the “Remove this title” button. This sends it back into the cloud. You can download the title anytime as it will always be available from the cloud.
Can I listen to audiobooks on the My Must Reads app?
Absolutely. We provide a robust catalog of audiobooks that are as easy to download and enjoy as an e-book.
I can’t find a title I want, why not?
You can access hundreds of thousands of e-books and audiobooks from nearly 4,000 publishers, and new content is added daily to our catalog. Still, it’s possible that a book you are looking for has not been provided to us by a publisher. Please email us at Support@MyMustReads.com with the title and publisher of the book and we will check on it and get back to you.
My books or audiobooks won’t open or load—what do I do?
If you have trouble loading books or audiobooks on the app, follow these steps:
1 Sign out of the My Must Reads app and sign-in again.
2 If this doesn’t work, delete and reinstall the My Must Reads app. On iOS devices, tap and hold the app icon till it wobbles. An “x” button will appear on the icon. Tap to delete it. On Android, tap and drag the app icon to the top of the screen to delete. Once you’ve deleted the app, reinstall the app on your mobile device.
3 If the problem persists, send us an e-mail at Support@MyMustReads.com and we’ll have engineers look into the problem immediately.
How many people can use one account?
Your account can be accessed on a maximum of 5 devices. Though you could share your account with family members, the My Must Reads app is specifically built for individual use. Your common library will store and sync all the titles you’ve purchased.
Will the place I left off reading sync across devices?
No. Each device operates separately from another when signed in to the same account. This means if two people share an account, they can each be reading a different book or be in a different place in the same book. It also works when, say, you use your smartphone to listen to a book during your commute and use a tablet like an iPad to read books at home. You don’t lose your place in either one of them.
What happens if I lose my device? Or if I purchase a new one? Can I access my books on my new device?
Yes, you can. Just install the “My Must Read” app and sign in with the email address and password you used to purchase your books. In case of stolen or lost devices, please email us at support@MyMustReads.com with details of the device you wish to deregister.
Can I read or listen to books offline?
Yes, you can. All titles purchased will be available for download in the app’s library. Once downloaded, the titles can be read in offline mode, including airplane mode.
Can I purchase books outside North America and can I read them abroad?
Currently, you can purchase a title as long as you have a U.S. billing address and credit card. So yes, you could purchase if you’re traveling abroad and, of course, read books you’ve already purchased.
Can I receive a refund?
Publishers generally don’t allow refunds so we have to have that as our policy too. If your e-book or audiobook doesn’t function, e-mail us at support@MyMustReads.com and we will replace it with a working version.
How am I billed?
Purchases are billed to your credit card. The notation on your credit card statement will read MYMUSTREADS and then our 800 number. The transaction is securely handled by a third-party service provider, Stripe. Stripe securely stores your credit card details so you only need to enter them one time unless, of course, if they have changed.
I purchased a book by mistake, what do I do?

Why does the app say “You’re accessing your account on more than 5 devices. Contact support if you think this is a problem”?
You can access your account on a maximum of 5 devices. In case of stolen or lost devices, please email us at support@MyMustReads.com with details of the device you wish to deregister so you can include your new device.
